Farewell
Fellow XModders:
The Complete Edition of Discover XMod Pro has taken a little more than a year to develop. I made a foolish statement in an XMod Pro User Group session quite some time ago, and although I can't remember my exact words, it went
a little something like this:
Someone will be able to build a complete application from start to finish over the weekend.
Who the heck was I trying to fool? I ended up pouring a massive amount of time into this project, covering topics in depth that were never originally planned, and taking the design aspect of the application to the next level.
I wanted this book to stand out. I wanted you to learn thoroughly and efficiently. My desire is and always has been for you to be successful in your development career, and with a passion for teaching, I do hope that I've exceeded your expectations in
this book.
We've covered a lot of ground, some of which was very simple, and some of which was quite complex.
Because this is a living/early release book, I'm going to be making some changes, reviewing things that I may have missed, and possibly adding additional content... And well, even removing this paragraph when I'm done.
If you feel I've missed something, please send me a direct message via the contact page.
So this is Patrick, with Discover XMod Pro... signing off, but not signing off. It'll take me some time to read back through all of my chapters, and make appropriate edits or changes. I want to thank each and
every one of you for your support, and trusting in me to deliver as promised. Although very difficult at times, it has been a joy writing this book, and knowing that the book has been of great value to you, and of course being a
part of such an awesome online community, has made this journey incredibly rewarding.
I do hope to see you in the Elite Edition, but regardless, take care, farewell, and I will continue to look forward to your success as you Discover XMod Pro!
